Parsons Brinckerhoff is the Transit Planning consultant selected to perform this work. Parsons Brinckerhoff Quade & Douglas, Inc. has been involved in projects for many major transit systems in the U.S. They have prior experience with Capital Metro projects and an established presence throughout Texas . Their local Austin office offers a full range of transit planning and engineering expertise. Their services include alternatives analysis, facility site selection services, traffic analysis, environmental document preparation, air quality analysis, noise modeling and abatement and route studies.

In addition to the outside consultants providing technical direction on the project, the agency has two project managers, Randall Hume and Lucy Galbraith who serve as the principal staff on the project.
